Made in Ireland ∙ Plastic free packaging

Nice to meet you!

Hi! I’m Karla, the face behind Flying Fig Studio. Everything you see here is designed, handmade to order and packed in lovely plastic-free packaging by me, in my studio in the heart of Ireland.

Pretty much everything I make started out as a gift for a loved one; from my first star map, an anniversary present for my space-obsessed boyfriend Nick, to the personalised yogi tote which was a birthday present for my yoga loving friend Paula.

It’s a little cheesy, but I really think that when something is made with love, it’s just that little bit more special and I work really hard to make sure that every single thing I make is the very best it can be.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the look on someone’s face when they open a present that’s been made especially for them, and I started Flying Fig Studio in October 2019 to spread that joy far and wide. That’s why every single thing sold by Flying Fig Studio is handmade to order, and the vast majority of products can be personalised to your requirements.

Want something a little different than what’s on offer? Just give me a shout on or fill in the contact form below and I’ll be happy to help!

I've woven my own values throughout Flying Fig Studio. As an animal loving vegan, it's important to me that everything I make is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. All of the inks I use are free of animal products.

I can guarantee that Flying Fig Studio mugs will never be made of bone china, my cushion inners will never be stuffed with down and my personalised notebooks will never be made of leather.

Environmental Impact

I do everything I can to ensure that all of my packaging is plastic-free and either recyclable or compostable, and that any paper and wood I use is from sustainable sources.

I make a donation to the World Land Trust every year, who plant a number of trees on behalf of Flying Fig Studio.

Let’s be friends!
